Megyer-hegyi Tengerszem (mountain lake) – Sárospatak

Megyer-hegyi Tengerszem is a unique natural attraction, which was formed on the site of an old millstone quarry. Over time, rainwater filled the attraction surrounded by steep mine walls. It is a favourite place for hikers and excursions where hiking trails and information boards help you find your way around. In 2011, the place won the title of the country's most beautiful natural wonder.
