Sárospatak, the school town
Sárospatak entered the history of education in Hungary and Europe with the Reformed College founded by Peter Perényi in 1531. Today, the ancient walls accommodate the High School of the Reformed College, the Theological Academy and the Scientific Collections, where visitors can get to know the famous Library and the Museum of School History. The special time travel can continue in the neighbouring school garden with the statues of former famous students of the college.
